Weekly Public Transportation Ticket
A weeklong public transportation ticket for Berlin costs 29 Euro. This ticket enables you to travel the entire "A" and "B" areas in Berlin which encompasses almost the entire city of Berlin and enables you to via bus, U-Bahn (subway), S-Bahn (over ground train), or Tram (streetcar).
Short Term Accommodation in Berlin
As a not-for-profit organization the ICD is able to book accommodation for your time in Berlin at preferred rates. For example, we are able to book accommodation for participants in a Holiday apartment or a hotel, located at the heart of Berlin City West. The ICD is able to book this accommodation for the following rates:
Holiday Apartments - The apartments/Studio apartments are located in the heart of West Berlin. The apartments are fully furnished with modern furniture and equipped with high speed wireless internet (the apartment comes with towels and sheets).
- Shared Apartment (to be shared with other ICD participants/students): 35 Euro per night.
Hotel - The hotel successfully combines the concept of the low budget simplicity with a designer hotel modern look with first-class city center locations. The rooms provide contemporary ambiance with double bed, mobile workstation, armchair, air-conditioning and flat screen television.
- Hotel Single Room: 69 Euro per night, including breakfast.
- Hotel Double Occupancy Room (to be shared with another participant): 49 Euro per night, including breakfast.
